The Weeding Party
Remember at the end of Friday's post I said our family was invited to a "Buttercups Be Gone" party, a weeding party...well we went. Here is a photo of our neighbor, the horse breeder, and Mac carrying buckets of buttercups. I like this photo because they are walking side-by-side in the same pose.
Did you know that buttercups are poisonous to horses? Yep, and we spent Friday afternoon helping to clear the horse pastures. I always drive by pastures and think "look at the fields of pretty yellow flowers". Now I know.
The only injury of the afternoon was an electric shock. Despite repeated warnings of the electric wire along the top of the fence, Lee bumped it with his head....bzzzzzzt...and felt a bit of a jolt. Don't worry, he's fine. The ice cream afterward went a long way toward healing the pain. Ice cream cures a plethora of ailments doesn't it?
