This love offering is about much more than money to assist a family with extraordinary medical expenses of a child. Truly, it is love being given. The love each of you brings individually bonds collectively, illuminating a glow across the world and reaching into the hearts of many, thereby blessing Parker.
As a Christian, I have prayed for God's blessing upon Love For Parker...that above all He will be glorified. That fact doesn't mean anyone is asking you to adopt my religion or any religion. It does mean I have faith in God and in the willingness of you as kind people to join together this week in Love For Parker.
From the bottom of Parker's little heart...thank you.
Melody
Those of you who landed here yet somehow missed the blogosphere buzz about Love For Parker may not know him...let me introduce Parker. TopBlogMag has graciously published my interview with Parker's mommy,
Tammy, and reading it is the best way to get to know him. Parker is an
adorable, but medically fragile child who requires an extraordinary
amount of care. His care is extremely expensive, and his parents'
insurance company leaves a huge portion of the financial burden on the
family. His parents have been unable to qualify Parker for other forms
of assistance.
Then please remember to COME BACK HERE and Donate via the "make a donation" button at the top of this post and leave a comment [after clicking that link you must scroll to the end of comments to leave yours] to be entered for prizes. You will have a chance to win the Hewlett Packard digital camera, printer and accessories package valued over $400 or one of many other prizes listed below.
You will not be charged a fee to make your donation. You will be charged only the amount of your donation. The requested minimum donation is $2, but certainly more will be accepted with appreciative hearts.
Would you like to be entered twice in the drawing for the prizes
below? Easy as pie. [1] Make your donation via the donation button at the top of this post and leave a comment.
[2] Visit Reading for Parker and make a purchase from Julie's Usborne book store. During Love For Parker Julie is donating ALL commissions to Love For Parker. If you do both of these things...both...you will be entered twice in the drawing for prizes.

Thank you, so very much, for sharing Parker's story with us. I believe that we together can make sure Parker has more than enough to cover all his medical and physical needs. Remember that God keeps Himself busy with our steps. He concerns Himself with the things that concern us. He will never relax His hold on us. Blessings from my home to yours!

I'm so sorry Parker's tests revealed the results you were given today, but isn't it wonderful that we don't have to rely solely on what the medical profession has to say! I pray that the "Love for Parker" campaign will help out your family and that you will be blessed beyond measure by our great and merciful God! God can do all things and He does answer our prayers! I am continuing to pray for Parker, the doctor's caring for him and for your family.

Thank you so much for organizing this little event for Parker. I have made my donation, and wish I had millions to give--not just for Parker, but for all little people who are suffering. It's people like you who help so much to make their suffering a little bit less, and to make it a little easier for their parents. Thank you again.

I made my donation. I wish I could give more. I truly would if I had more (we've had $16,000 out of pocket medical expenses ourselves this year....I don't even want to seem to compare our situation to Parker's...just wanted to explain why I couldn't give more).
I will be putting the code on my blog as soon as I get into my template again.
God bless that precious, precious child, and thank YOU for doing such an amazing thing with this fundraiser!
