Why I Blog...

I love my life! My special purpose sons take me to places daily in mind and heart that I would have never known existed without them. In sharing photos and a few words from our daily life, I encourage you to look at your life with humor, hope and with the reality that you do what you can do when you can do it. And reminding you to snap photos...lots of photos.

There's A New Blog In Town

Do you know there is a need for one more blog that is a place to play, be creative and have someone win a prize each week? Yup. I knew you were smart enough to see the need.

I have such a blog. There will be no high-dollar prizes, but instead small, fun gifts chosen by me to celebrate the creativity and individuality of you. No great artistic skills are required...only imagination, emotion, a spirit of fun and a blog. You know you meet those requirements. No blog? No problem. There are many places to host your blog for free. My new blog is hosted at Blogger which is free and easy to use.

Monday, September 3, come to Slurping Life for the link to my new blog. Then and each Monday thereafter, I'll post the details for the week's fun. We'll play according to the weekly details posted and have a weekly gift winner. The opportunity to play will be open Monday through Saturday of each week. Also, you will have opportunities to be a guest blogger at my new blog. The full scoop next Monday...including the name of my new blog.

Rebecca of Just A Little Bit Of Something Extra Creations is working on the design for my new blog, and I can hardly wait to see the end result. Oh, and a button...you know there will be a button for your blog.

I think we'd make great playmates. (Uh, no, not Playboy, so keep your clothes on.) Pretty please say you'll be my friend and come out to play with me each week beginning Monday, September 3. If you cannot be here on next Monday (It's the Labor Day holiday in the U.S.), there is always Tuesday or Wednesday or Thursday or Friday or Saturday...you get the idea.
