Conversation at my house between husband and me...me flopped on the couch...a lump in sweats, no makeup and, most likely, drool oozing from the corner of my mouth. Lately I have not done much other than go through the motions...yesterday even the motions stopped...
"What are you doing?"
"I don't know."
"What are you going to do?"
"I don't know."
"What's wrong?"
"I don't know."
"Are you okay?"
"I don't know."
"Do you need anything?"
"I don't know."
"What can I do to make it better?"
"I don't know."
"Do you want me to leave you alone?"
"I don't know."
"I love you."
"I know, and I love you."
These are the times when you know he really loves you. It is easy for him to say I love you when you walk into the bedroom wearing lace lingerie, right? Wearing sweats and drooling...it can only be easy if it is true, lasting love.
