A Boy Kind Of Day
With my boys every day is Earth Day. They play in dirt and water and sunshine and ask, "Mom, why do grown-ups pollute the Earth?'

Sadly the worst perpetrators are the ones who just won't listen. It sickens me that they are destroying this beautiful earth all for the love of money...

I wish I knew the answer! Whenever I go for a walk and see trash on the side of the road...a soda bottle, fast food wrappers...I just wonder WHY?? Are people so lazy that they can't wait until they find a trash can? I know there is always more we can to recycle, reuse and be more earth friendly. I hope everyone tries a bit more, too. :)
Great shot, too. :)

Great shot! I love that this generation of children is growing up so much more aware!

You know, I was just thinking the same thing about "every day being Earth day."

Kids are good at being green. It just comes natural.

I'm with you Stacy on the litter. Our school play grounds are a disgrace. It seems to be part of the 'entitlement' generation's belief that it's someones else's job to clean up after them.........perhaps the younger ones can lead the way?

You know what? I get the feeling you guys live in our part of the world. I *think* I recognize the Christmas village, the canal and the lake. Or, you know, I could be crazy! Anyway, I love that your boys are always outside thinking of fun stuff to do!
